Bringing people together through twice-monthly weekend Connect Café sessions, creating a safe and welcoming space where people living with dementia and their carers can connect.
The varied activities such as reminiscence, music, quizzes and art encourage social interaction, stimulate memories, build confidence, and promote emotional well-being.
We can help people access information and signpost them to relevant local services and support. Sessions also include a free light, nutritious meal, helping to make participation more accessible and ease cost-of-living pressures.
At Inclusive Life CIC we believe that meaningful connection doesn't always have to happen face-to-face and recognise that some people may find it difficult to attend community activities because of limited mobility, disability, caring responsibilities or other circumstances.
That's why, as our Connect Café project develops, we hope to complement our face-to-face activities with opportunities for people to stay socially connected from home.
This could include friendly online conversations such as; reminiscence, quizzes, useful community information, and opportunities for people to share their ideas and experiences.
We will keep you updated on future plans for this.
